Dream big, dream blue

Hello, everypony!

I never really celebrated birthdays as a kid. I didn't have a single b-day party until I actually moved out of my parent's house. Since then that specific day in September became special again, thanks to my friends and partners. And one of the people I should thank to is Perch, because this year she sent me one of the most awesome gifts I've ever got. Not only I got tons and tons of Polish snacks, but also many sweet ponies! Let's take a look at them :3
I sadly couldn't make a photoshoot outside due to bad weather, but I made a custom background for these photos with alcohol markers and colored pencils using Perch's favourite color - blue!

Waterfire (My Little Pony G3)

The title photo belongs to one of my childhood grails - Waterfire. I remember sitting at my mother's computer with a monitor in a shape of a big box and looking at a website called Maxíkovy hračky, which was a toy store e-shop. It was around the year 2007 or 2008, I think. I was in 1st or 2nd grade, already learnt how to write and read just so that I could write stories about my G3 ponies, in Microsoft Paint. My first one was about Rainbow Dash getting stuck in a woodshed while a big thunderstorm was raging outside. What a drama! Anyway, I remember seeing Waterfire on both Maxíkovy hračky website and in the pamphlets from ponies I got before, and being amazed by her contrasting color palette. She wasn't like any other MLP with pink and pastel colors, and that's what I adored about her. Getting her after so many years is somehow healing. Thank you so much for this amazing figure, Perch, she quickly became one of my most loved figures. ♥

Fancy Flora (My Little Pony G3)

My the most favourite flower is morning glory, or rather it's wild version - bindweed. Maybe because it's a birthflower for people born in September, or maybe, juuuuust maybe it's because it reminds me of those golden flowers from Barbie movie called 12 Dancing Princesses (which is a very important movie to me). Me and Perch were discussing this flower in the past and Perch helped me to find a pony which cutiemark resembles bindweed the most: Fancy Flora. Getting her in the package was a very sweet surprise! ♥ Thank you so much, Perch, I just adore her :3
Oh, and fun fact: ther is actually a G3 pony called Morning Glory, but she has nothing to do with this flower - she has a cascading cutiemark with a bird instead, and with her colors she rather resembles a dawn than the actual flower. So strange!
Now I'm after Morning Glory and September Morning Glory ponies from 1st generation!

Dream Blue (My Little Pony G3)

This pony was added to my wishlist only recently, but for a deeper reason. I decided to collect brushable versions of all my childhood Ponyville figures. Sounds easy, right? The only problem is that my the most favourite Ponyville figure, Breezie Dreams, only exists in the Ponyville form and there is no regular brushable version of her. I've searched whole StrawberryReef database to find a pony that matches her the most, and I come up with some adepts: Blue Mist, Dream Blue and Starbeam. They all have pink or white manes, but that's alright; Ponyville version of Merriweather also has a purple mane, although her brushable version has a pink one. In the end I fell in love with Dream Blue, so when Perch got one in a big set, I was super excited! She even dyed her hair pink for me, because the mane turned white over the years. Thank you so much for this cutie, Perch, I adore her! ♥

Cloud Climber (My Little Pony G3)

And here comes my newest rescue pony! I got her from Perch for very cheap because of her defect; the bright pink spot on her body. As many of you already know, I don't mind getting ponies with such minor imperfections, for they can be easily restored. And white ponies, out of all other colors, are easy to restore when they have some stains on their body, because these stains can be sun-faded with the help of hydrogen peroxide. I've tried it in the past, but with colored ponies. The issue with colored ponies is that their original body color fades too, so it wasn't really effective and the stains couldn't be removed. This snow-white girlie on the other hand has much bigger chance to success!

Tink-a-tink-a-too (My Little Pony G3)

You might remember from my previous article "Beefing with the sun" that I already had this pony, but I sold it due to her big flaw that I couldn't fix - half of her body was sun-faded. I vented about it to Perch and she was so sweet to get me a new Tink-a-tink-a-too in a great condition! ♥ I love this figure so much, she has beautiful colors (and a bisexual flag in her mane, hehe). Thank you so much, Perch, I'm so happy!

Princess Luna (My Little Pony G4 reboot)

And another Luna for the average Luna enjoyer! I'm not a fan of reboot ponies, but this Luna simply found a way to my heart. Her mane was a big mess (you can tell this pony edition has low quality hair), but I managed to restore it and that makes me even more grateful for her. She looks so cool! I'd like to make a new crown for her in the future, and not gonna lie, I'm also tempted to color-in her boots, perhaps with a silver acrylic marker?

Spike (My Little Pony G4 reboot & My Little Pony G4 Surprise Drink)

Getting Spike (and not just one!) is a big accomplishment for my collection! This year I finally managed to get the whole brushable mane 6, but there was still someone missing. Of course it was our favourite baby dragon! These two figures are so extremely adorable! I'm very happy to also get the tiny one, because I've had my mane 6 from blindbags for some time, but Twilight looked so lonely without her adopted son. Now both of my mane 6 (or rather mane 7?) are complete with this scaly friend!

Wish-I-May & Valenshy (My Little Pony G3 Ponyville)

And now onto more tiny figures! Another big accomplishment was to get all 6 valentine Ponyville figures! Wish-I-May was the last one missing, and I'm forever grateful that Perch got her for me! Thank you so much :3 I'm also very happy for Valenshy; even though I already had her, my previous figure had a damaged cutiemark. I don't do it much often, but just as Tink-a, old Valenshy also got replaced. It's okay though, these girlies were probably in the same pack, so it makes sense they stay together. ♥ Thank you Perch for helping me completing yet another achievement in my collecting! ♥

Cheerilee, Rainbow Dash & Pinkie Pie (My Little Pony G3 Ponyville Easter eggs)

And now onto an even bigger achievement: Easter Ponyville figures! Because let me tell you, these tiny ponies are insanely rare! Perch got them for me from Canada, and even there they are really hard to find. Perch talked to multiple collectors and a lot of people claim they've never seen them listed. I never even added them to my wishlist, because I always thought they are simply impossible to find. Getting them feels like a miracle! The shipping from Canada wasn't the cheapest of course, but since both me and Perch bought something from this seller, we split the shipping. It was definitely worth it. ♥ Oh my Bastet, I still can't believe I got them! I really love the markings on their legs; Rainbow Dash reminds me of the Aquarius zodiac sign, haha!

Paula (Filly Angels)

Next we have this sweet Filly! I'm not a big fan of Filly Angels, mostly because their color schemes tend to be insane. This pony on the other hand had beautiful colors that work very well together ♥ I saw her before and thought to myself that this is one of a very few Filly Angels that I'd like to get. When Perch sent her photo to me, asking me if I'm interested, I was very excited! She was dirty and her coat was dark grey, but I tried Emil's method of cleaning with baking soda and managed to clean her very well! ♥ I love her so much! :3 I also find it funny that she is one of a few angels who also have a horn; I imagine they are a crossbreed between Filly Angels and Filly Stars, hehe :3

Rainbow unicorn foal (Schleich Bayala)

The last pony in the box was this Schleich unicorn with a tiny note attached, saying: "I saw a gay horse and I thought it would be homophobic of me if I didn't send it to you!" xD Perch, hun, I love you. xD ♥
I don't collect Schleich horses actively, but I adore every single figure I get from others. And this one is a perfect addition to my growing herd, thank you so much! ♥

Those are all ponies I got from Perch in September! Thank you again, queen, it made me extremely happy! ♥ Thank you for always being here for me and for making my b-day more special. ♥ It means a lot to me. :3
